Tyreke J. Grayson Scholarship

An Honor and a Legacy

Tyreke J. Grayson lived a life defined by love, laughter, and an unforgettable strength. Born on April 16, 1999, and raised in both Cleveland and Houston, Tyreke brought joy wherever he went. A graduate of North Forest High School, he was known for his quick humor, constant jokes, and a smile bright enough to light up any room.
Tyreke had a deep love for the LA Rams, cartoons, movies, technology, music, and video games. His personality was larger than life. He was always ready for a dance battle or a bowl of jambalaya, and he filled every moment with warmth and energy.
On June 23, 2025, Tyreke passed away due to complications from Sickle Cell Disease.
To honor his legacy, the Tyreke J. Grayson Scholarship was created to support students living with Sickle Cell Disease in their pursuit of higher education. This scholarship stands as a tribute to Tyreke’s bright spirit and his belief in living fully, loving deeply, and lifting others along the way.
