SOS Group Meetings

We know Sickle Cell Disease is a painful, stressful and difficult disease to battle everyday.  Joining our Supporting Ourselves Support Group Meetings can help to relieve some of the everyday stresses associated with living with sickle cell disease or being a caregiver.

We understand that personal challenges, sickness and pain can prevent people from attending local support group meetings. We decided to provide telephone conference support group meetings so that everyone, anywhere can participate. Our meetings will have learning topics and loving environment for sharing. We want to create a safe and positive environment; only positive and encouraging discussions are allowed.

Warriors In Prayer

We are living through unprecedented times. We understand the physical, mental, and emotional toll we as a community of sickle cell disease families are facing. But we also understand and believe in the power of prayer. To combat any fear and anxiety, we invite you to participate in our Warriors In Prayer call. This call will be held the first and second Sunday at 5 PM CST.

Our Warriors In Prayer line is open to all community members of any faith or religion. Please submit your prayer requests by Saturday at 1 PM CST to hear your prayer on that week’s Sunday call. Upon submission, you will be emailed call-in details. We look forward to uplifting our community and sickle cell warriors through the power of prayer!
